Hats on TV

...So I found the show on the on-demand menu...(From what little of it I saw, it appears to be another of those highly implausible, tremendously violent stories we just can't get enough of.)...
Based on the first three episodes, I wouldn't say the overall tone of the show is tremendously violent, but occasionally there are some violent moments. If I were to attempt to describe it to someone who has never seen it I'd say it's essentially a tweaked version of Silence of the Lambs, except that the Hannibal Lecter character is far less homicidal and is working with the F.B.I. to eliminate people who are far more threatening (on a global scale) than he is, and that the Clarice Starling character is more intelligent and less "green".

Anybody see that great looking brown fedora Tom Selleck is wearing in the promo for an upcoming Blue Bloods episode, the one where he's taking his granddaughter to a museum or something? That blew me away...I think he looks as good in that as he does in a cowboy hat! I don't watch the show, but may have to be on the lookout for that one.

On some of the shows I watch, I've noticed that a lot archeologists and geologists that work in the field seem to favor felt hats. There's also a couple of cryptozoologists out there that have nearly identical black leather cowboy hats, with the brims rolled up tight on the sides, the front of the brim folded into almost pour spouts. One of them pulls the look off, the other does not.

Yeah, I watch the goofy stuff. gets my imagination going. :)

I noticed that in the past month or so, Harold Finch has been wearing a hat in the colder weather. Looks like a stingy brim fedora with a rather wide ribbon on the crown. (His cohorts Shaw and Reece are relegated to wearing wool watch caps.)

Any idea about who makes that hat? (I think the Blacklist hats are better-looking.)

Not sure who make it but it looks like the centerdent is pushed up like it's too small or not deep enough.

I couldn't find a pic of the top in my google search but if you watch the show you'll see the top of it eventually and see what I mean. It looks like the centerdent is pushed up. Still don't know the make though.
