Cute hair Miss Dottie! I was a bit hesitant to cut my hair as well a couple of weeks ago because I had such an attachment with it. But hair grows and short hair is way easier to recreate vintage hairstyles especially if you have thick/coarse hair like mine.

Great tip! I only wear the cheapo Maybelline Great Lash mascara on my upper eyelashes because I hate that raccoon effect if I ever wear mascara on the bottom lashes. But I'd say if you have fair lashes, just simply wear smudgeproof eyeliner at the bottom lashes..it doesn't wear down as much as...

I think it would be just fine wearing a light colored dress at night. Simply accessorize with rhintestones like Lolita said and a shawl if it'll get chilly where you go. Maybe a pair of gloves and a flower in your hair will also give the dress a "dressier" appearance.

This is a dress I bought a few weeks ago and I am very much pleased with it. It's not vintage, but it is a gorgeous taffeta wrap from Diane von Furstenberg which was orginally $480 but got knocked down to $120. ;)
