    Does Anyone Drink Rye Whiskey?

I'm not sure if I missed anyone mentioning this, but Russles Reserve makes a great 6 year rye for about $30 a bottle.

A new Highwayman and the freezing rain debacle of '09

Let me be the first to request pictures of you wearing it! I want to see how the side strap placement looks when worn, as I'm considering getting them put in the same place when I order mine.

Schott 689H Horsehide jacket - opinions and suggestions?

If you think you may want to return it, do it. Being without the jacket but with the 4-6 hundred bucks you spent on it to find what you really like will be much better then not having the money, but having a jacket you dont wear because its not comfortable.

    Autumnal Thoughts........

Leather, wool, Coq Au Vin, comfortable cruising in my air-condition-less Chevelle, and the exhilarating feeling of riding a bike 15 miles in the cold of the early morning. Good riddance summer!

Schott 689H Horsehide jacket - opinions and suggestions?

Also a food with southern Italian origins. Potato 'Gatto' its called, and usually has a little cured meat to add flavor, plus garlic and breadcrumbs. One of my favorite dishes.

Thats actually a southern Italian thing. The breadcrumbs take the place of the much more expensive Parmesan cheese.

    Goodwill buys

I once found a camel Burberry Trench coat in perfect shape with the zip out lining intact at a good will for $40. Bought it and enjoyed it for about a month, though I tired of the 'Inspector Gadget' comments. After that, decided it was 1 size too large and flipped it on fleabay for about $200...

Music while Cooking? Music while Dining?

Ottmar Liebert is what I play in the summer when Im grilling or making Paella. The Verve Remix albums are great to cook (and live) with. I highly recommend anyone and everyone acquire the 4 cd set with companion cds. Mushroom Jazz is another good compilation to cook to. When dining out, I think...
