The Eastman was £350 of e bay and the Goodwear was 900 US $.... Both are a size 44... Im actually a 42 but my jackets are normally tight on my arms so looking forward to getting back to the UK at the end of the month to try them on.... If they are to tight you may just see them on e bay!

A2 Jacket
Hi Chaps,
I bought an Eastman A2 in Havana Brown then went A2 mad and bought a lovely Goodwear jacket in horse hide from Goodwear direct.... 1944 pattern Dubow with the purple cuffs etc.... Hope it fits!!
Hi Guys,
I am looking for a good A2 Flying Jacket in the darker brown if possible...I am looking for either a good ELC copy or an original in good/excellent condition I am in the UK at the moment.... Drop me a line!!
Thanks Andy
Yeah I own an Auster and a T6 Harvard/Texan.... Also have 2 hours in a Tr9 Spitfire... Its nice to wear an original Irvin or A2 whilst flying to get the real ambience of the era...
IRVIN finally arrived in Bahrain however its over 40C at the moment! Perfect for airing the sheepskin for an hour or so in the sun to neutralise the smell a bit..... then bk to the UK for some pecards before another airing at Flying Legends in the T6......Should get some nice upside down pics...
Ahhh I see.... Well iv had a belt replacement now and an original light weight buckle attached.... It was quite heavy actually and made the belt hang low when not done up.... Thanks for the info Andrew
This is my Irvin.... A bit to big on the arms but in great shape and wearable... It gets quite a bit of use in the Tiger, very warm and looks the part... The belt was a bit weak and the buckle was a horrible heavy chrome piece that I assumed was a fake so this has since been rectified by Byson...
I didn't realise it was Prewar... It was a lovely fit however the leather was wearing very thin and as you can see some of the fleece was showing through on the front... As you can see it looked a bit dry on these pics so I gave it an application of leather dressing and it looked a lot better...
Hi Guys... This is my first real post, I thought id share a couple of my purchases with you - Having owned a modern Irvin style jacket I decided to purchase the real deal... This was my first Irvin however the shoulders were very weak so not really suitable for daily wear... Especially flying in...
