A2 jacket and white stamp on wind flap

Hi All
i have Question
white stamp ( wing and sign ; army air force) on wind flap which is seen on some repro A2 jacket is historically correct,? whether the stamp appeared in the original ww2 A2 jackets ?

Those stamps are from quartermaster and inspection acceptance. I can't speak for how consistently it was applied to all jackets. The lining has them also.
Since I've never seen an unissued jacket I can't confirm. However with the authenticity and accuracy demanded by the buyers, it wouldn't be done if not correct.
It is a mere decal, if you don't care for it, it can be removed.

If there were such a stamp were in the originals of ww2 then I see no reason to remove them repro.It looks wery nice.I see it also it in B3 jacket wind flap
