Belts or Suspenders?

I'm 50/50 between wearing belts and braces with my suits or sportcoat combos. On different days I like to feel stylistically Euro, British, American Trad, Gordon Gekko, Mad Men, Sharpster Salesman, etc., so it all depends whether a belt or braces fits the intent of the outfit better.

Jos. A. Bank, bless them, includes brace buttons in al their dress trousers.

Both, but not at the same time. Where suits are concerned, my preference if for braces, though I do admit that belts win out most of the time. Doesn't help that modern trousers don't usually sport waistbands capable of supporting brace buttons well, either.
