Yes, Roughwear has similar seams. They had a patent for this dual entry pocket, but have a different look, as you mentioned. Top grain tag makes me think Roughwear. I can confirm Roughwear made jackets for Wards, I can't for Monarch. The back design is not familiar, though Roughwear did have fancy backs.

When I first looked at the jacket, I assumed it was for a zip in liner. But it doesn't go all the way around. Certainly its for matching pants.
This thing is literally wider than longer. 22" back length on a 46 size jacket is asking for a lot. But that is how they were cut in those days.
This would be perfection for me if it were my size. 21.5-22" p2p with a 21 or 20 or even 19" back is is my dream.

I am. I also wear some high waisted stuff. 19" wouldn't work for my jeans, but it would work with my wool trousers and chinos.
