That's one thing I love about Indianapolis--you can be in the country or in a park within a few minutes, even in town. Denver was a big mass of suburban sprawl--it's Los Angeles without the beach. The cost of living is great, too. My car insurance is half what it was and my health insurance through my employer is a fraction of what it was for a similar plan. If you live in or near one of the ghettoes, it's good to have some specific street smarts.
