That is one of the greatest summer suits I have ever seen! And the details of the trousers (those side adjusters especially) that is fantastic!

BT-
Thanks for posting that!
Love the details- got to admit, looks much more comfortable than most "modern" suits.

Both nice suits, Gents!

BT, your "pyjama" comment reminded me of a Mystery Science Theater 3000 moment
(enter fully dressed 40's era japanese scientists)

Evil Ruler -- I trust you all slept well! muah muah muah...

Japanese scientist (voice over) - Yes, we were all very comfortable in our double-breasted sleeping suits. Ahem.

Pretty funny show, if you ever get the chance!
Cheers

Maybe you guys are not aware of the greatest news yet!

Alex at Mycubanstore.com tells me that they are considering making the Cuban Linen 100 drill suits (aka pre-Castro Cuba style) again for sale.

Do what you can to encourage them I did

Great link.

I am a fan of J. R. Capablanca, third world chess champion ( 1921-28), who hailed from Cuba.

Unlike most chess masters of that era ( an interesting but motley crew ) Capa was quite dapper.

What is your jacket size?

forty-six or forty-eight, depending on maker etc.

This jacket, in my size, got away yesterday - I was away from a machine and couldn't bid as planned. I think it brought under $30.
