The dark blue leather is considerably less problematic for me as compared to certain other colored leather (e.g., green or red). However, the quilted padding is a deal breaker for me. I personally do not favor quilted leather (or other fabrics).

I used to be of the same mind on quilted leather until I saw jackets by Thedi leathers, so I completely understand the feeling.

In any case, your next challenge would be to get a dark blue leather jacket

Yes, I would. I actually do own and wear it!

As for the quilted leather padding, it's really just shout right on this one I'd say, not too thick nor too flimsy.

Wow that's the most dramatic sun tan I've seen on a natural hide...beautiful!

but if painted then probably a small logo on one sleeve and number on the other in off-white paint.
