My First Vintage Find!

A wool check overcoat I found at a thrift store. I am guessing it is from the late 1950s or early 1960s, but I would welcome any input into this garment's age.

I am seriously getting addicted to hunting for vintage clothing!

That is a beaut. Typical fifties. The nice thing is that you will be wearing something no one would ever look askance at, but it is quite unusual. It is not a style that is still made today like solid blue or black or a trench coat, so it stands out, but is so classic and nice no one will think it is odd. It fits you well too.

Good overcoats are not hard to find, as they are not as saught after as suits and such, but they are so well made and high quality.
