Recently interested in leather down jacket, anyone has any suggestion?

What do you guys wear during the coldest days? Peacoat is a good choice, and I'm also interested in leather down jacket, some suggestion please?

Shearling jackets (Irvin & D-1) or wool interlined N-2Bs / N-2A

Peacoat with a sweater, Thunder Bay (shearling lined) and when it is really cold, a Canada Goose with down insulation; yea, that will do it.

I wear leather with wool jumpers up to freezing temperatures. Once it goes below 0c (32f) i switch to peactoat or greatcoat, if it really gets cold (-10c/14f) i switch to the B-3.
Haven't really worn wool or shearling in a few years though, winters in London have been very warm.

I had a leather down vest and a leather down jacket before coming here to jacket hell. Vest was great, but too smallish. Jacket was HUGE. Some fashion brand, but an amazing jacket I got at an outlet. Looked like a big, black Michelin Man™
Nothing wrong with the idea at all, but now I have down vests and jackets with sheerling.
N-1 is very warm, and I'd have a D-1/B-6 if money were free.
