These are not GE however I like their look... Both made in USA... The grey is Cashmere with a lite orange/pink square design.
The white has wider squares of blue... Over all they look great in my humble opinion... LOL

Here's an odd rockabilly/western sports jacket I found at a thrift store for $2. Feels like a wool gabardine, could be a blend with rayon or nylon. Probably dates to around 1958~1963 or so.

sillyrockabillyjacket1.JPG

Peak lapel, squared off front, and bellows patch pockets. The lapel measures to 3.25". Unfortunately it's missing a button off the front and the chances of finding a matching one are close to 0. I'll have to replace the lot of them.

No back belt, but it comes with an action back and two rear vents that are just as short and useless as modern vents.

A 3/4 lining? I've never seen anything like that before. Two inside pockets and a fun checked lining.

And amazingly, the jacket is constructed with the "wrong side" of the fabric facing out! The inside is a large-scale plaid!

I didn't snap a picture of the union tag, but it's the 1949-1962 ACWA tag. No other tags on the inside of the pockets.

The fit is fairly decent. I probably don't need to get this tailored.

Action back in action plus contortion to get a good angle with my camera.

It's a little black and white number I'm having trouble dating. avedwards said it's a 70's, Fastuni says it might be a 50's, or possibly a really good 80's or 90's. Following Fastuni's advise, I took some more intimate pictures, and gave all the labels close-ups. What do you guys think?

@Christopher

Thanks for the photos. The design is pure early to mid 1950's.
But without doubt a more modern fabrication (1990s at most) that is however very faithful to the original.
Andre Villard is a modern brand that is Vintage inspired in many of its products.

Picked up this vintage bespoke sportcoat from Ebay recently. Details say 1930's to me. Bi-swing shoulders and pleated half-belt on the back. No labels. Beautiful teal tweed fabric with a golden-brown windowpane.

The top beige jacket is known as a "Pioneer" style jacket the bottom one looks like a cross between a Hollywood and a Car Coat with a lapel, would be nice with a belted back.
