Thanks, it is one of my favorites, the color in the photo is pretty true. This entire thread is full of spectacular lids, all should be proud, thanks for starting it.

This is my Dobbs Westward which is the Dobbs Version of an Open Road. What I need is slacks to match the color of that hat!

  16. Variation on a theme by John...

But good things bear repetition. Timeless, clean, flexible style. Nice bunch of hats.

RBH, those are four fine lids!! I love the colors of the Strat and Campdraft.

Razzman, the shape of your Borsalino is wonderful.

Congrats to all here for having these great hats, and thanks for sharing.

Here are a couple pics of my recently acquired Stetson 4X Open Road.

  18. John, not only is that a great hat, but that's a great photo! With the exception of the satellite dish you could be standing in 1940, but what I really like is the candid quality. That photo is just full of joie de vivre.

  19. Many Thanks!

    Jack!

Many thanks for your kind words.

(Oddly enough, we were heading out to a funeral of a fellow congregation member. Richard Wallingford, AKA Wally of Wally's Bicycles in Baldwin Park area. Swell guy, and my faith tells me I will get to see him again in Heaven!):)
