GOK,
I've never purchased from them before, but they have some really nice stuff! I'm bookmarking them. Looks like good prices too! Thanks for posting this!

Another Time Vintage

GOK,

I actually am lucky enough to live close to her two stores and have been buying from her for years, I absolutely love her things! Her stores offer a much better selection than her online shop and her prices are much cheaper. So, if you don't see what you are looking for online she might have it in one of her stores. She's great to work with!

Does anyone else use specialist auctions?

Yes - in fact, I am the Moderator for the Vintage Clothing category there, along with Viviene of Born too Late Vintage! We are a new venue for Vintage Clothing, but growing all the time!

I dont know if it has been said yet but if you search myspace you can sometimes find different people selling vintage. Some of it is no good but i have seen some gems in there too.

If you live in the USA...Then...

It's like shooting fish in a pickle jar guys:eusa_clap Just be patient, keep your eyes open and keep wandering into thrift shops and second hand clothing stores (as there are bargains to be had and never assume that they always know what products they are selling - trust me on this).

In the short time I was across the pond, I scored well on two suits (DB peak lapel and SB Peaked) plus a pair of beautiful full brogues by Allen Edmonds at $20 (with no tax) that fit a treat. Oh and a beauty of a 40's tie NOS, at $2..(thanks Brooksie for insisting I buy it). Just keep the eyes peeled and bide your time = the results will follow.;)

And, NEVER be afraid to barter with the seller as one can negotiate with cash and taxes..etc, but know the market price.
