Hey guys,

We at Insurrection pretty much have the men's gear covered as best we can with vintage men's jackets, Vanson Leathers, Schott NYC, and Aero Leathers. Yet, we've always had a hole in our collection for that great fitting, quality leather women's cafe' racer jacket. The good news is that we were able to take a 1960s Canadian women's cafe' racer, replicate it, grade it xs through xl (sizes 0 through 10), and almost sell out in our first weekend with the jacket. Without doubt, the girls of Seattle certainly like this jacket! We have a few left in sizes xs, l, and xl.

How do you guys feel about the fit of the jacket? It's made of 3 ounce steerhide, much like Vanson's competition weight leather. The zips are all YKK. Women have always loved this jacket in it's original 1960s vintage form, but those finds are very few and far between these days. We've always carried women's Vanson and Schott jackets, but this more fitted vintage cut has always been preferred by our female clientele. Below is a picture of Deidre with her totally ghetto cafe' racer project bike. I know that we're not used to evaluating women's jackets, but, again, what do you guys think?

P.S.--I'll also post this up in the "Powder Room."
