Christmas Eve - a gray flannel 3 piece, single-breasted suit with peaked lapels, modern white shirt and vintage green tartan tie. The hat is a 1940's Borsalino and the overcoat is a Burberry loden coat.

I love this shot. The rounded collar 'points,' the tie, its knot, the jacket's tweed - all beautiful.

Now that to me is the perfect classic look for Christmas Mountain Man. Formal, yet still appearing comfortable.

If I keep up chauffeuring folks around, I’ll have to find myself a black version of that jacket. I like it. A nice campaign hat would probably be a better topper though for a green one.
