Tell me about it. You go to the bar, there's a bartender and someone sitting by the jukebox who knows her. You go to McDonald's, one of the fry cooks waves. You hit the auto parts store, some guy in the wipers aisle calls out. It's bizarre, and most definitely ain't my thang. ;)

I know that everybody knows each other in a small town but this is ridiculous!

Well, at least I got to be a witness at her second wedding. They left straight from work on their lunchbreak, got married in the court room, and went back to work. I brought chocolate chip cookies since there wasn't any cake to be had.

I'm not adverse to ladies/gentleman having had relations, but once someone has to submit their list to NASA for an accurate tally, I start for the door. ;)

Have you ever seen the movie Boondock Saints? I was really good friends with this girl (platonic, mind you) from high school on into our current age. We used to hang out all the time, all around town, had a real gas.

But no kidding - I couldn't go to the gas station without meeting 3 guys she'd been with. Of course that didn't bother me, but it drove one of her fiances to suicide. He left a 7 year old girl behind. She's been married twice and I think he would have been number three. He just couldn't hack it - he couldn't stand going, literally, everywhere and meeting these ex-flings. He stopped trusting her when he'd find texts from these guys. He broke down one night and asked her why she couldn't just leave the past in the past - she told him sorry.

It would be one thing if we were talking, oh, 100 ex-flings, but unfortunately for her, and him, it is more in the neighborhood of 250+. You know, she's my friend, but I can't say I have a whole lot of respect for that kind of behavior. And I certainly couldn't marry a woman like that. [huh]

Guilty of being trite, but 250+?!!! :eeek: Holy Lawd!!!
I can't even figure out how one'd have enough time for so many hmm... involvements!

Neither can I. Nor can I think of 250 people I've met that I'm even vaguely attracted to. I know I'm picky, but still...

250 is a huge number! I am kind of old fashioned though - more than can be counted on one hand seems like a big number.

I can barely manage home, work and my hobbies so I have no idea how anyone would manage to have that many partners - must not be crafters!

Haha, that's what I thought too!
