By way of partially wet too means that within that county they allow cities to make their own decision if alcohol sales are allowed within city limits.

Partially wet?
Is that because I'm the only drinker in the house when I go to see the inlaws. :D
They live in Burleson County, and it's weird to see the grocery store AND Walmart selling wine. Considering both stores are in the same parking lot.

One of the great surprises is the fact that there are still dry counties in the US.

Hi James

If it''s like Kentucky, the bootleggers, Baptists, and club (Eagles Clubs, American Legion, Elks etc) don't want it wet. You can's legally sell booze, but you can sell it illegally (bootlegger), believe that no one has it (Baptists), or give away to your membership (clubs).

Weirdly logical

as a long time beer monster and stunt drinker( semi-retired) I am amazed that there are still such places in the civilsed world!
You mean you can't even have it at home? I can't imagine in Texas of all places not being able to get an ice cold beer at lunchtime!

The south has a lot, still a lot of belief in alcohol being the root of all evil lol

I live in Wisconsin, we put beer in our Cheerios!

Once, on a canoe trip in Indiana, I had Trix and Stoh's for breakfast because that's just what we had left, a box of Trix, and a case of Stroh's beer and it was time for breakfast.

It's things like this that make me glad I'm not in college anymore.

Obviously the law makers are smoking dope but won't let you have booze.
