OK, this is the jacket made by Aero for LVC in 2003 if I am correct. I am luck enough to find this used jacket.
The leather is in very good condition, however, the collar is slightly faded, and the stitching is coming lose around the button holes.

Now, I am thinking if Aero is happy to fix the stitching problem, also, I want to short the sleeve and change the lining to tartan.

Interesting project. Maybe 1.5" or so off the sleeves, and I would definitely change the lining if the price is right, as it looks kinda drab and too samey to me.

Yes, I definitely gonna short the sleeve, and the lining, yes, if the price is alright, I will change it to tartan or alpaca.

Thanks guys. Actually, there is nothing wrong with the current lining, I think it is silk, and there is no stain or holes. Very good condition overall.
That's a nice jacket, what sort of leather is it? I saw the very same jacket on ebay, it's supposed to be a 48,
But the pit to pit is tiny.

A description on an old ebay listing of this jacket.
"This beautiful brown steerhide leather 1930s-style jacket was manufactured for LVC by Aero Leather for the A/W 03 collection in a size 40 with a copper coloured viscose lining. It has a half belted rear, two side pockets and one external buttoned chest pocket."

Thanks mate, doesn't feel like a steerhide at all TBH.

Damn, according to another eBay listing, this is made by medium horsehide...

Lol, happens all the time with ebay listings as some of the items are without tags and/or labels or when the labels just say 100% leather outershell like this one below.

The seller of the LVC jackets that has the above label listed his jacket as horsehide. If it was horsehide though, one would think the company will advertise them as such in stead of just saying 100% leather. I have seen one Levi's Japan not LVC jacket that is made of horsehide and its label does say horsehide.

True, I don't think this is horsehide, it is more like goat or steer hide, I did see some LVC jacket label says it is cow hide. But the one I have had the label removed, maybe the best way to find out is to ask Aero
