Today, I am wearing my new Aris Allen black slacks. I am also wearing a necktie I got from the thrift store. It is 58" long. It has no logo on it. It it slightly padded.

Really sharp indeed! Are those pants made for dancing?

I'm not sure. The company Aris Allen makes dance stuff. However, the pants seem to be just any old pants, made from polyester, with vintage styling. :D

Actually, I don't know how to dance. :p

I'm glad you like the pants! I plan on getting a black jacket, as to make a suit out of them. I also need a grey fedora. :D

A lot of love right there in that picture. I bet she views you as her favorite buddy as well.

+1 and if she grows up smart - you'll always be her best buddy. Yes, she will and should develop her own circle of friends and, eventually, boyfriends, etc. but always having you to call or stop by and visit with to really talk to would be great gift for her, that I can only hope she'll appreciate.

But that is all in the future, for now, the two of you look awesome and - as I know you do - just enjoy the time you spend with her.

1950s gingham dress, 1930s or 1940s (-ish? I'm not 100% sure) white beaded purse that once belonged to my maternal grandmother, and a necklace that was my paternal grandmother's (not that you can really see either of those, but I'm sentimental about them). It's been in the low 60s the last couple of weekends, which is good enough for me to break out the sandals and imagine it's already summer!

P.S. Sorry I look really snobby in this photo, haha. I discovered today that I make involuntary strange faces when spinning around. lol Who knew! I'd never seen photographs of myself spinning before today, but the full skirts of 1950s "new look" dresses were made for twirling around!
