Molto bello! In distant years, with the imagination in power, it would have been a must;)
We had a theater costume rental that we used for hangouts and more:rolleyes:
They had a very impressive collection of hats, who knows where it went
Grazie, Daniele. A lot of these hats in small sizes get offered on local auction sites; people seem to recognize they deserve to be saved.

They go well with browns. Ask any tree.:)
That means it's back to the forester look! o_O I appear wooden enough by myself without dressing up as a tree, Max:D

Oh! And my Mom said she would teach me to read English by reading Green Eggs and Ham. I said readng English was obviously the same as reading Spanish. She handed me the book for me to prove it, I read a couple of lines, and she looked at me curiously. "All right, go play" she said, and never checked my schoolwork again.
Did she give up after just one try??:D

Averla is a wonderful color.
Wonderful specimen Stefan.
Elegant ribbon.

Thanks, Bowen. The seller's pics made it look quite a bit darker, but I agree that Averla is a great colour.

Stetson Sovereign Twenty Mode Edge. I've been looking for this one for a while. I had a Mode Edge Fifteen some time back that I really liked but it was too small and had to be moved on to another Lounger. This is a very nice Twenty, very clean felt that I would call "crushable", or perhaps plush would be a better term. It is a mid-weight hat but very soft - comparable to my Canadian Stetson Imperial - and dents easily wherever my fingers happen to land when I pick it up. A 2 3/4 Mode Edge brim and a 1 3/4 black ribbon with wind trolley and keyhole size tag. Of all the felts I have seen and handled, this grey has enough blue to keep the blue hue in low light and direct sun. This is the color I think of when someone says, "Steel" - a nice middle grey/blue.

Many thanks for tracking this one down for me goes to my good friend and nominee for the 2020 Fedora Lounge Enabler of the Year award, Randall @Randall Renshaw

This almost looks like a "Max" table setting except on a much smaller (and lower quality) scale. Eight hats from an estate sale and two from an online auction.

I'll put up some quick and dirty pics and then (eventually) get these in the appropriate brand threads.

This was the one I was after. Notice I said "one" ...
