That’s the one. I wish the pictures were taken in better lighting. It’s missing the belt right?

Yes, the belt is missing. Interesting you mention the Kurland. I sent this jacket to another @Mysteryo He too is interested in the Sportclad. He sent me a pic of the Sportclad with a Kurland label. Same beautiful leather in the same style, a different lining.

Is the belt on the Sportclad removable or attached? I wonder if the previous owner of the one you sent earlier cut the belt off, a la Fine Creek. Thanks.

Have a good New Years.

Nice looking Vanson CR on Poshmark. Listed for $250, but the seller just sent out an offer for $220 and free shipping. Size 36, but I see the seller provided measurements of a 20" inch chest and shoulder-to-shoulder of 18", which seems like it would work for a 38 too. Although it does look to taper some.

I'm content with having one jacket in this style already, but it looks like a pretty neat jacket at a reasonable cost. Supposedly only worn twice.

First post, so hello Fedora Loungers! Awesome looking jacket, but a little too large for me (I'm more of a size 34). If anybody sees anything good in that size range, feel free to pass those along. :)

Both very nice, but how on earth do you get the wrinkles out?

I swear I saw a recent post or two where a couple of options were attempted, with some success, on heavily wrinkled jackets. Maybe even jackets purchased from this same seller.

The wrinkles do scare me to the point where I don’t hit BIN.

If you have not already, I would highly recommend looking on proxy auction sites in Japan. The process is really quite simple, and more importantly, they tend to have smaller sizes from jacket makers that aren't found commonly in the US, at pretty steep discounts. It's also worth noting that the measurements for this size 36 are a bit large, at least in my experience. I have a vintage size 38 cafe racer that is smaller in both the shoulders and the chest, despite being a size larger. So there's a chance a more slim fit 36 could work for you.

Welcome to the lounge!

Thanks Kubatu. Smaller sizes do seem to be uncommon on US sites - looking at some Japanese proxy sites now. I know that my chest and shoulder measurements are 33-34 inches, and 17 inches respectively, so I have a pretty good idea what to look for in pit-pit and shoulder measurements in jackets. A lot of the size 36s I see tend to be closer to a true chest size 38 more often than not, sadly.

I have been looking for black, cafe racers recently. I'm open to most styles though. Something like this aero-crosszip would be an amazing find for my tastes:

Think I found where this is being drop-shipped from, if anybody wants a better price:

A black cross zip or an Aero 30s cross zip are classics and will probably never go out of style. Hope you find a good one your size your size online or get a custom one made depending on where you live.

There are a number of small Harro, but at least one in a bit larger size, that are being sold out of Hungary. I posted the wrong one. A bunch of cool Harro of varying colors and design.

It's tough with Harro if you ain't sure. Harro had like five in-house styles, like Buco or Brooks had, that were set in stone for a good decade and a half, maybe more. After they've either changed management or have been bought out, they began producing that colorful junk which IMO isn't worth anyone's attention.

You could order any of the main styles with details you wanted, pocket placement, etc. but it's very simple to tell which jacket belonged to what pattern.

Later Harro is a mess.
