Now that I shifted gears to wearing instead of just buyingstarting to get some good break in on some of these. This Aero Sheene coming along great.
Got to see about maybe adding a button or a zip to the pocket warmers so they don't flare out as much. The little things I start to notice after reading too many posts on here LOL

yep. this is what gave me the idea. Real smart on your part. Thinking maybe a tailor could add an inside button for vanity reasons lol.I'm all for zipper closure/button snap for hand pockets so they don't flare too much, but sometimes it has to do with the pocket placement and angle itself

Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. yep. this is what gave me the idea. Real smart on your part. Thinking maybe a tailor could add an inside button for vanity reasons lol.
With collar too...
Big WIN!
How do you attach it? Buttons? Snaps? That's my doing. I have this collar from a locally made 60's choir textile coat, that was lined with sheepskin and had a sheepskin collar. So I just use it on any jacket I'm currently wearing.![]()
One; Either Walter Dyer came up with the best jacket pattern ever or they just lucked out, but either way, the way this jacket... disappears when you put it on is just amazing and something I have never encountered before, at least not to this extent. At 3.3 kg, I'd say this jacket can safely be qualified as mega-heavy-weight. It's massive but somehow you feel like you're not wearing anything heavier than a cotton shirt. Certainly not like there's an additional 6 pounds or more on your back which, with a lesser pattern, can feel quite burdensome. Amazing really and I don't quite understand how they've managed to achieve this. Having tried the jacket on, I think @Marc mndt can confirm my thoughts on the matter.
The jacket is comfortable, has a great reach and all but the weight distribution is divine.
Two; Never seen a jacket made in hide that was more natural or less processed. Seems almost raw in look, texture, feel. Leather is full of natural marks, blemishes, scars, etc. It's... Maybe even ugly in a beautiful way. But even though it's nearly suede-ish, there is still SOMEHOW magically some sheen to it, one that is quite apparent in daylight.
I know how @Monitor is great at describing and highlighting positives, he would make a great salesman. Turds in need of polishing? Monitor can do the job

Seeing this, I don't know where your initial doubts came from. Great looking jacket, perfect!Still FL. Bleak and very rainy day. Man, I love that leather. Together with my “Imperial” easily my favourite hide.

I was about to recommend a Wayfarer as wellMaybe something Wayfarer
With prescription glasses clip-ons are very handy.I think of this jacket as kind of over-the-top for my personal style, but still find wearing it easier than the sunglasses. Any eye wear advice from those who partake?
Bates. The quilted lining makes it my warmest leather jacket.
