New to me Luftwaffe Vanek from @Robbie79. @Mandarin you are so right the leather on this is very beautiful and the fact that it fits well is just extra special. Thanks again my friend, Robert, this is an instant favorite.

It's a great fit and will get even better with time! And the leather is really something special. I saw it's larger brother in Engelbert Vanek's workshop. It was the last batch of leather from an Austrian tannery before they closed. I'm glad it found a good home once again! Cheers!

Yeah, that jacket looked like it might have been a little small on Robbie, but it looks great on Jin. Which makes me a little less envious, because it probably would have been a little tight on me as well...:)

@Angel I will do my best to wear it and get it to shape up around me. It feels like it hasn't been fully breaked in yet. Man that's cool that it has a brother at the brick and mortar Vanek shop, thanks for sharing that info. I'm lucky to get this jacket and it will be well taken care of. All the best

congrats on yet another perfectly fit jacket man :)
oh here is still at the peak of wet season, came home from supermarket in heavy thunderstorm just half an hour from taking that pic. But I live in a place surrounded by volcanoes (some slumbering some alive) even when the sun is extreme, the wind is always cool here throughout the year, so as long as I'm in the shade or moving I can enjoy wearing jacket all year round, except for maybe few weeks in october when the air kind of stop moving and heavy at the beginning of rainy season

Thanks again @navetsea very fortunate to get a fit like this. Getting a vintage jacket that fits this well gives me hope for the future.
That sounds like a wonderful place to live and enjoy your leather jackets through out the year. Hope you get to hear good news about your MC jacket project

@Robbie79 Man those heavy cxl and LW leather must be something else. I will most likely not get anything heavier than 3.5 oz lol oh I can't seem to remember when this jacket was possibly made?

Yes! Super! That looks perfect on you man. I'm loving the whole 4 pocket vibe and the snap at the waist bad! The Vanek has the slider in the left which is new to me, it does make sense to place it there because of how hard it would be to zip up the jacket with the extended waistband with snap hindering the ease of the process.

Hehe I think you're right. I bought / ordered 24 jackets since the beginning of this year. Also bought an extra rail but by now that's full already.

I realize this can't go on like this and I'm therefore thinking of focusing my collection on a particular style or segment. I just can't figure out which style that should be. I like and wear a lot styles, both new and vintage. As long as it's well made.
You certainly made a proper score this time Marc congratulation. Now no more complaints about the lack of vintage jackets on your side of the pond

You jest, but one TFL bubba actually built a house for his jackets. He knows who he is  great collection too. One of the best here, though he hasn't been around as much lately.

Wow is this a fact? I have an entire room with 1 double decker rail and 3 industrial straight rails full of jackets and I thought that was bad! A whole house!?
