Here's my 2nd Cal Leather Jacket, i actually saw that @Monitor posted it on here for sale after i had bought it.

I'll be honest it doesn't fit as good as my other one, its much longer in the arms and not as fitted in the shoulders like my other but i still love the jacket. I've even found myself rolling back the sleeves at times.

I'm a big fan of vintage jackets with lots of patina.

that one is amazing as well. Love that extra pocket. I think a lot of us struggle with the Cals because of the back length/lack of front drop and short sleeve length. What's your weight and height? They seem to be fitting you great.

The one I have that I love the most, my 50s one with the great teacore patina and original zippers, is too big for me, but alas has the extra sleeve length and back length. Need to gain about 10 pounds lol. Think I need to sell and keep hunting.

Yeah i've seen a few Cal Leather jackets that are really short in the waist area.

I'm a little over 6ft / 182m and weight around 13.5 st/ 189 lbs (i tend to wear size 42)

Los Angeles dipping down into the 60s all week. All my pagan rituals must have worked. Wore this aero C3 yesterday.. A tad big on me but this is going to get a lot of wears next fall and even some spring nights. More about comfort and coziness than fashion on this one.

And dusted off my Enfield this morning. Was washed few weeks back and now hit it with some skidmores. It's glowing.

ah ok. We're similar, so you're telling me there's a chance LOL :p:p

Going to spend the next couple weeks doing the "spring" cleaning, see if I can get rid of a couple that don't fit, figure out what I'm missing and what I really want, and then start the hunt again.

Still wearing mask here, most of us here are not vaccined yet, new cases is slowing down, but the mass vaccinating program has no recent news here... maybe our gov want to just wait it out. I hear we have a recent big batch of AZ vaccine... Im not overly eager to that. I hope to have other option when my time comes to be vaccined. On the otherhand a year living in seclusion taking its toll on the psyche.

Winter arrived in Sydney on Friday and made its presence felt with winds direct from the Snowy Mountains. SJC wool and leather halfbelt finally got its first wear. I'm thinking the leather is goat, sturdy but not stiff. A joy to wear, very comfortable.

Nice. I didn't know they've done a collab. I had the privilege to meet Sir Paul a couple of times, he's a very inspiring guy with an interesting life story. He was a professional cyclists until he had a serious bike accident which ended his career. That's when he got into fashion and opened up a store together with his wife.

This is the Ralph Pugh Cross zip I posted before. After a complete restoration at Dena’s, we’ve discovered the old labels inside the lining and it’s a Ward! But, could still be contracted at RP. What’s interesting is this even-pebble cowhide used. We associate vintage and high end repro leather with natural grain or smooth/corrected grain, but never this even-pebbles, but it was indeed used back in the days. I think the artificial even-sized pabbles was seen too often on Asia-tanned cowhide/water buffalo, but in fact, Hermann Oak’s domestic steerhide is very much like this, hefty and pebbled, and I don’t think it’s printed, but I’m not sure.
