I am pretty sure the guy who had this jacket custom made for himself in Ventura California sometime in the 1950s did not wear it with seersucker shorts and plastic Birkenstocks.
When I worked as a Chef I would frequently respond to the critiques from the floor, good or bad, "There is no accounting for taste."

Don't be so sure. Ventura is a surfer town. The main shop was probably less than a mile or two away from the ocean. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some old polaroids of guys in long hair rocking their jackets by the pier LOL.

About backgrounds....your’s are iconic. Now maybe after your 1/2mile swims you could stroll the 1/2 mile beach and catch some iconic wahines in the background. For contrast of course.

Insane how well it fits when it doesn't fit like a cardboard box, which is how it did fit on me. Sleeve length is perfect. Everything is. Literally couldn't have ended up in better hands and not just sayin' that 'cause I sold it to you.

Yesterday, Sunday........@ St. Augustine Beach, FL, it was a very breezy 38F..........and I got the chance to wear this killer B-6 made by Simmons Bilt. I purchased it from a totally top shelf dude - Maarten. To those of you who may run across his path in the future......he will impress the HELL out of you......as he did me.

I'm forever thankful as I don't think it could have fit any better at all. The sleeve length, back and front length, and chest are all perfect. I just need to tame the leather a bit as you weren't kidding with this jerky; it's bounces back and needs extra attention to get it to where you want it.

Super happy overall!
