I lowered the back panel slighly, give the Jacket a longer less boxy optic on Back:

Huge difference.
I would not assume that it is the same jacket model.
It's really cool.

Don't mean to compete with @58panheadfan awesome D pocket Road Master, but here is an update on 2mm brown steer.

I've been wearing it almost everyday for the last 2 weeks. The jacket has been through few workouts, hikes in the sun, rain and lots of everyday wear. So far its not bad. The leather is thick and heavy but not as restrictive as 1st Gen of CHL was described here. I can honestly say I like this jacket quite a bit. Here are few pictures showing how the leather slowly develops the character.

In addition to my review above, here is my order sheet as an idea (not only for a 5Star Order).
This makes things easier for you and for Shawn. From my experience the more infos are given the better
(the features I have copied from Five Star Leather site:

Thanks for this....your jacket is a home run and I may be using it as a model for my next purchase. If you don't mind sharing, what is your height weight chest and waist measurments?

Has anyone ordered a Geman U-boat jacket? Show full length fit photo please. View attachment 489800
I did, last year. I customized it (black goat instead of the standard grey steer) and I also asked them to remove the half belt on the back.
really nice jacket.

Just realized you asked for fit photo's.
These are from when the jacket was new, last November. I specified the back to be 32''.

I really like the jacket in your photos. Looks like what I've been looking for for a long time. Perhaps I'll place an order.

Thank you very much for those images. I'm ordering my own custom jacket from 5*, and I was having a hard time choosing the leather. I couldn't decide between black goat or HH, and i'll definitely go with the goat now.

What I would change if I ordered it again would be the storm cuffs: they are acrylic ones and I would specify wool.

Are the acrylic storm cuffs just not holding up or not warm enough? I have a jacket of theirs with a wool lining. Is there a wool option for storm cuffs that is soft vs the (perhaps) "tougher" one used for linings? Nice looking jacket, btw. Thanks

they seem less sturdy compared to wool ones, and I think they will lose their elasticity faster than the wool ones.
The 5* wool ones (as in my A2 and AN6552) are rough, quite rougher compared to Aero or Bill Kelso, but really sturdy and warm.

"Not bad" is an understatement. These sleeve rolls are awesome.

@chollie As a little tip: If you have in mind to order a D-Pocket from 5* make sure you give them exact position of chest zipper (I forgot :(). Compared to my jacket, lower and closer to the corner of the d-pocket. The angle of the right outside pocket should angulated more to the front, the Zipper is too steep and therefore the inside of pocket is difficult to reach.
