Yeah those darts are horrible. Killed the jacket IMO. I’m shocked it received the number of bids it did. Despite the provenance, I’d have a hard time choosing that over a Jet’s pizza if given the same price option of $35.
I figured it was likely a padded Cal CR. Not sure if this was ever confirmed though.

The back darts are just weird. I agree that they very much ruined the jacket. I am also surprised at the bidding on this one. I asked how the P2P measurement was taken and gave a brief yet detailed instruction on how to measure this IF the Seller had not done it correctly. The only response was, "The pit to pit its measurer (typo) with the zipper up." Thanks dude---you Literally answered ZERO about my question. He DID say the back length included the collar---which I assumed from the rest of the measurements. Based on the other measurements I was hoping to see that the P2P was perhaps erroneously measured and was actually wider than 21". Even if it were wider, I was largely turned off given those darts.

Maybe someone can somehow fix it. Still gonna have holes where the darts were stitched though. A shame.

Brothers what do you mean by the "darts"? I quite do not understand.
The rear of the jacket had some tailoring done where the leather was gathered in and stitched similar to the "darts" on a woman's jacket in the chest area. Only these were on the back of the jacket. They appeared to be not professionally done.

Brothers, I am including an image pointing out the areas I think you might referring to? Perhaps I am wrong. But if this the area in question, it appears to me as storage folding in the hide. Not a repair.... Additionally, the shoulder area wear appears to me like closet rubs.
The jacket looks medium /small size 40. Not quite 21 in the pp area.

You may well be correct! They are odd even as folds due to storage. Maybe it was folded up at some point?? A few of us have believed they were sewn at the upper points. Perhaps not. This appears to have been a custom build for a slender person. The length measurements with a 20-21” p2p are a bit longer than I would expect. A longish slender fit jacket I suppose.

The more I look at it I do not see clear evidence that it was stitched creating darts. I think the Storage Folds theory is spot on! Glad its also too small for me or I would be kicking myself some for not being in on it.

Totally agree. I was guiding my p2p measurement based on the dimensions of neck area. This CR is a Cal. No doubt. the HH in this one is just like some Cal CR I own. The stitching and zippers point out to me early 50s production. The jacket is in pristine condition. I believe the jacket was worn in the rain one or two times. Other than that, the jacket has not seen the day of light.

If only it were also a 6 panel back as others have mentioned. Would be a Super Grail piece!!! I have funneled 2 small versions of these padded Cal CRs to a buddy of mine who is quite petite. One of them he got for the opening bid of $100 and it's MINT--never worn. I don't ride so I have no real business owning a padded moto jacket. But I just like the look of these. I don't see them in my size very often at all much less in this condition and price range. Someone scored if it fits.

Royale Filmware have done a really nice and faithful repro of the discontinued Matchless suede blouson featured in the Bond film Spectre. However, I’d a faithful copy of the original and not ‘screen accurate’ to the heavily filtered and saturated tones from the movie. I was hoping for something more tan, like the Wested version.

I brought out the popcorn to watch this one in the final minutes, I could've sworn this one was going high, supposed darts and all

I have admittedly never owned a Schott, and know very little about them, but this seems like a solid deal for a unique jacket if it's your style. Shoulder and elbow quilted padding with a zip out liner.

Size 42 | $169.99 OBO

This is a rather sassy and even saucy design for a Schott. I like it and would have bought it were it a bit larger. Condition is good too. It's been listed for awhile now. Maybe its TOO SAUCY for some. I say, BE BOLD!!!!! Lol

Agreed! I was thinking about it too until I saw the measurements. Too small for me as well.
