How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Jelado Grizzly coming. Logically I know it's stupid to have a wool liner, mouton jacket in socal. But I've been wanting to try one anyway.

Been wanting the jelado version as they got rid of the waist belt and sleeve belts you see on most grizzlies and I find kind of goofy. But mostly seen either the denim versions or the occasional high priced leather ones.

I find I end up nearly as wet from the inside and I would from the outside. As soon as the sweat condenses to water on the inside it can’t pass the membrane.

Paramo present an alternative approach without a membrane which I’ve found works really well for me.

I tire though of heading out in the rain dressed as if I could equally be hiking in the hills. My hope is that ventile will work well enough in the rain and also remain breathable. The coat will then hopefully serve as a means to brave the weather while not looking like a mountaineer.
Ventile doing its job so far, more testing needed.

This one just got thrown on my porch. Hideout leathers of California. Pretty cool stitch work and pleats. Very small size 44” but I can wear it to smuggle the goods through Juarez as I’m sure the original owner must have.

I do wish the collar was larger and hit my shoulders. Liner is sagging in the left sleeve and in the back. Will tend to that this weekend.

Talking with Aero about having their recently retired "Wilderness" jacket made as a one-off in cordovan CXL steer. I don't know what the reasoning is for why they discontinue certain models, but they took down a handful of really nice (in my opinion) styles after that last sale in August.

Yeah, the western shirt disappeared, but they agreed to make me one anyway. Arrived today :)

I always have a few jackets coming and going, and I currently own only two leather. My Guidemaster is getting dangerously tight on me, and so I couldn't keep away from a size 40 Kit Karson with original studwork out of Japan. 10% off, 75 dollars in bank rewards, so it's free as far as I'm concerned.

I could probably go shirtless in -100 artic polar nut freeze and be unfazed.
Tony youre evolving backwards! You started with tanned and finished leathers that take time and are highly crafted. Now youre clearly taking down animals by hand and just wearing the hide right away. You somehow pull off every look though, I wish I had the chutzpah to wear this.

Dont even get me started on the 5am dog turd runs haha. We both live in snowy windy places, I am over it. Though maybe Id feel differently if I had that mammoth to wear.
