Here is another question I have: What does the label of A2 Schott mean: I-2-674-m-s ? I've seen some jackets have that, others don't

Dude are we brothers or maybe I’m your dad lol… yeah I’m an old guy lol.. we are like exactly the same size so that 36 will fit you perfectly!

Actually my Dad is taller than me. I guess that happens if your child gets a lot of cigarette smoke in their face all the time while it needs to grow up. Good old times.

My dad is 5”11 and both of my brothers were 5”10.. my mom is hardly 5ft.. oh well I have to live with it lol

At one time I did some deep research on all the Schott Perfecto jackets but I not the schott a2. When it comes to the a2, I’m more of a reproduction kind of guy. I bought the schott because I knew it would be the warmest and most comfortable jacket. And I paid $60 for it because it needed many repairs like a zipper.. I’ve got a great tailor nearby

I also drink an occasional French press so Im looking hard for the perfect grinder.. I’m beginning to think that my hand held self grind is best. I hate when my coffee grounds aren’t all the same size. Or worst yet, when the grounds get clogged and are espresso grounds that fall into my pour over.. I’m asking a lot aren’t I ? Lol

@jeepTj98 I hear you about grounds not being uniform in size - that can seriously affect the taste of the coffee. The larger grounds don't extract at the same rate as the fines, which means you really want a uniform size in between.

The finer grounds will immediately settle to the bottom as soon as they release their CO2, while the larger pieces will float. The larger pieces yield a sour note, while the fines offer bitter.

The middle stuff is what we need.

The Eureka is good at a fine espresso grind along with the courser grind for French, which is what I drink, and the uniformity is good.

I have heard it's best to spend more on a coffee grinder first, then an espresso machine later.

Anyone tried out the Lost Worlds Sierra? Does it have ginormous shoulder like most of their designs? (It probably does, doesn't it.)

I've tried out the All-Weather which is basically a variation of the Sierra (same pattern). Fit is fairly similar to a Ryder I own.
Not sure where you get the idea that their designs include ginormous shoulders. They feel fine to me.

Ah, I recall some truckers that had quite wide shoulders, but perhaps that's just on the truckers. I do wish it was possible to try on a LW first to see for myself...

Not Austria, South Texas - I live in Toronto now but I'm a big coffee guy. My favourites are the African beans of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda, good and fruity.

I have a really good but older espresso machine so I am a bit backwards but I’ve always used a hand grinder. I have not had any lost worlds jacket other than the a2. It is very well made and is aging beautifully..

I like a good dark roast coffee.. I really don’t want to spend a grand on a coffee grinder but I’m picky..

@jeepTj98, that's the one but mine also has the accordion-style bean holder at the top - once you've ground the beans you can push on the top to blow air through the burs so that nothing gets stuck.

Weather is all over the place right now, from 8 to 20 degrees. Today it's raining and colder. I don't like the warmth, so I'm fine with that hehe. The summers get unbearable. Last summer was pure torture. People don't have ACs here, it's not so common in Europe. Other than that it's kinda bad, prices are high in general because of inflation, high market concentration and higher energy costs. Also no living space anymore that anybody can afford. I regulary visit germany cause my gf is from there and i'm always shocked how low the supermarket prices are there in comparison.
Oh and also our social system is collapsing more and more cause politics don't want to raise the age of retirement but at the same time we lack workers (especially in social professions) and not enough children being born to keep the balance in the future.

Also there's not enough doctors here. They all go to Germany or other countries if they succeeded in their Training. This has become a big problem, in the area where I live I can't even go to the doctors anymore, I have to visit the capital city.
