Looks cheap. Wouldn’t wear that if I were paid to do so. This guy goes through a lot of effort only to end up looking like the Sonoma sale rack at a post Father’s Day sale at Kohls wrapped in some manner of jacket that’s anything but authentic.

Ultimately The poor guy was seeking a form of acceptance he never received here and so now he blasts this community to his small number of bot and Pakistani leather followers on IG. It’s been going on for a while now. Pathetic for an allegedly grown “man”.

I come here for the laughs and the tears, and the 5* thread almost never disappoints. I feel bad for our “authentic“ friend, it seems that we are living free in his mind and taking up more space than we rightfully ought to. I can only imagine that most people who come across his posts on IG pause and wonder what the hell he is blabbering on about.

Come on... for a while, 5* was fun I learned a lot and wouldn't want to have missed the experience. Many people burn money in some way, and for me it was 5* jackets. Quick satisfaction of the urge to buy, and with some sweet talk, the result was also acceptable. And hey, who hasn't wanted to be a jacket designer at some point? But at some point, the rose-colored glasses come off.

Yes,, I've not been here that long but I know that it's the same guy. I've had communication with him and he was always helpful as has every other person I've reached out to for help. I did order a waxed goatskin trucker from 5* as my first leather jacket and I must say that it turned out great. No complaints and I'm very happy with it. I've gone on to purchase several Aero jackets and a Simmons Bilt and the 5* holds it's own especially for the price. I understand that there are a lot of people that have had the opposite experience and that you are kind of rolling the dice with 5* when it comes to quality of the leather and consistency and that some of their patterns just aren't that good.
