Taller than the Fed IV. The overall crown shape is different as well, imo, closer to the Raiders look (which isn't a surprise since, it's my understanding, the Fed IV was based on a vintage block which approximates the Crystal Skull look).

The crown is definitely taller than an akubra. I can never get the center dent deep enough in an akubra without it touching my head. No problem with this one.

In the Indy world, I always thought that the Raiders jacket looked "real world" aged, at least to a certain extent. The LC jacket, however looks completely artificial, with the CS jacket falling somewhere between the two. I agree that the Temple jacket probably carries this off the best...

I'd say that you're right on the changes to fit being intentional. I know that the sleeves were purposefully made longer than the normal ratio would be as, apparently, Bruce Willis prefers his sleeves that way.
