Has anyone ever taken the wide ribbon off of a federation and replaced it with a thin one or maybe a like a thin leather braid. I got a fed III that’s more of a beater and outdoor rain hat and wondering what it would look like with a more country look.

I may want to own a Bushman but want to see more examples of bashes and how it compares to other Akubra styles. I’ve had the cattleman and currently own a fed III and IV. Thanks.

Yeah I like the look of the Schott 530. Anyone have experience with the fit of Schott jackets. Do they run small or “fitted”. I usually wear a 44L in a suit jacket.

Yeah I have very low instep but other wise normal feet so every boot I've ever tried would fit in the toe box but be loose around the instep. I really like that style because of the simple rugged design. You can special order that particular model and I have but sold them shortly afterward...
