Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I've last posted and, alas, it's due to selling several of my fedoras. So far, I have three already posted and three additional to come. Please take a look. Thanks!
Decent Montecristi that I got from Panama Bob a while back...
I find that a panama goes with about any outfit, casual or dressy, as long as it goes with your face. The brim size problem isn't going to change with any outfit, if it's too wide it will make you feel funny in any outfit you wear.
Here are some pics of a casual panama:
The last one...
here's a good pic of Hopkins in a nice panama:
I'm starting to feel inspired to get a nice panama. All the ones I have are cheap and have completely lost their shape.
I was watching Hannibal earlier today and was admiring the style of Hopkin's character Lecter and noticed his nice Panama hat. I thought I would google around for a pic of it and come to this article...
nice hats everone!
Hat envy is a terrible shortcoming of mine!
Well, for our thanksgiving service I wore my re-worked Dobbs along with my new pea coat, which I love:
I find here in Georgia, where it's pretty humid, if the temperature gets over around 70-72 degrees it becomes too hot for a felt hat and I get a sweaty head. Once the temp drops below that, I can usually handle a felt with no issues.
My usual technique in deciding what hat to wear, especially...
Due to my lack of formal clothes and money to purchase them with, I always wear casual clothes on a day-to-day basis, the exception being church on Sundays.
I think fedoras go fine with jeans:
especially if you're carrying a huge knife lol
or
And I wear them with t-shirts a lot...
that a real good reason for a no-returns policy, especially if you're talking about a custom or, even more, a commissioned hat. It takes those people weeks and weeks to weave your hat then you're just going to return it?
ah I see what you're saying.
I hate that as well. I think if it's a flaw in the product or false advertising then the customer shouldn't have to pay for return shipping. But... this is the world we live in.
