Not to sound bizarre, but I was wondering if any of you WWII guys could tell me....

Yeah, I've seen authentic ones, as well. I would NOT want one of those. To me, collectors of that stuff isn't necessarily collecting it in honor of the dead. I think they like it for more morbid reasons. I figured a replica one would be chilling as well, but not in the same morbid sort of...

...where I could get a replica Concentration Camp uniform? I am a history teacher and am looking for a replica to display in my class as remembrance of the horrid atrocities. I have come across considerable difficulty in finding anything...can anyone throw me a lead? Thanks in advance...

    Doolittle Raiders Reunion

They are on display there, but are moved every Apr 18, depending on wherever the reunion is in the country. However, it was obviously easy this year as they merely had to move them across the museum to the dinner area. No problem! You should post pics of your collection....I'd love to see it!

    Color Footage of the Blitz

I still find it strange to watch color WW2 footage. It almost seems surreal considering I've seen only B&W most of my life.... Thanks for the link...

The U-505 Visit - Chicago, Illinois - Warning Pic Heavy!!!

As a memorabilia collector, I've always been looking for one of these paperweights made from the original ballast from inside the U505. And off to the air gallery! Got to love the MKI Spitfire. This was an actual BoB-used machine. It gives me chills. I stared at this baby for about...

The U-505 Visit - Chicago, Illinois - Warning Pic Heavy!!!

A replica kitchen (no flash photography allowed inside) Enigma machines - as I've learned from Hollywood, Amercians captured these babies waaaay before the Polish and British did.....JUST KIDDING! Drop your weapons! This is a photo of the real Captain's quarters.... The U505...

The U-505 Visit - Chicago, Illinois - Warning Pic Heavy!!!

Last weekend I visited the U-505 in Chicago finally. It's been there all my life and I never took the time to appreciate her and tour her inner belly. While I was not permitted to take flash photography inside the sub, some of the outside pics didn't run out too poorly. Here are the pics I...

Tom, I'm not sure I could fit in the ball turret even if someone offered me a grand to do so. That thing is small and tight!

The Gathering of the Fortresses - Thunder Over Michigan (8.7.10) - Warning PIC HEAVY!

Two weekends ago, I attended the "Gathering of the Fortresses" at Thunder Over Michigan - which was the largest gathering of B-17's in the U.S. (at least that's what they advertised...) I've been meaning to post these pics, but have been busy. I took video as well, but am too lazy to upload...
