If I bought it new it would bug me.

I would be afraid if removed and dyed over it still might show raised areas where the paint was.

I've got both Vanson pants and Fox Creek pants and really prefer the Fox Creek over the Vanson because the Vanson's are really high waisted. But in all fairness the Fox Creek are over pants and the Vanson's are not so I don't know if that would make a difference or not.

Looks really good to me. The leather looks a lot nicer than some of the other new Vansons that have been posted in the last few years, was this a new old stock jacket?

What is the measurement around the waist?

I saw this on a leather working group on Facebook, it's awesome! I've been wanting to try my hand a jacket myself, you may have inspired me. I think I'll sew it on a machine though, my RA couldn't take that much hand stitching. Great job, I love it!

My sport rider pants are very baggy in the seat, I have to pull them up like mom jeans to make them look like I'm not carry a load in the rear, lol.

My Marauder is a 44, the rest of my Vansons are 46's and 48's. You might want to measure the jacket and ask for measurements when you get ready to buy a Enfield to make sure it's a good fit. The Marauder seems to run quite a bit larger than my other ones.

I bought a Marauder this winter in like new condition and the previous owner had cut the patch off of it too. I've done everything possible to try and hide the spot, even filled the needle holes with black antique paste and it was still really obvious. I've decided to just put some other patch...

That's beautiful! Now I'm kicking myself for buying 4 jackets this month because if I hadn't I would buy this in a heartbeat.
