The angle of the picture is alittle decieving. I haven't measured the crown height but it is about 4 3/4" or 5". That's the height of most of my hats.

Milan Pics

I just put myself in Art's que for a straw, but I haven't decided yet whether to get a monte or his new milans. I'd appreciate pics of anybody who is getting one of the new milans. I'm sure others would like to see them as well.

Thanks Wade. Art did a great job on this one. Dimensionally I think he has me dialed in and his ribbons have subtle character that is hard to capture in a picture.

Page 129 and 130, incl Art`s comments on the Milans - I can only strongly recommend them.

Thanks for the complements on the oxblood, the only thing it`s not mine!

Just for the record, here is a close-up of the new braid...very fine, and resembles the finely braided straws and horse-hairs of the past...
