Gents: Do you feel comfortable with a woman who is taller than you?

Is 5" shorter considered "slighty" or "much"? It all depends on the personalities involved, too...

In this context, "prepared" means being open to possibilities one might not otherwise "prefer"... in my case, the LDGE is definitely "Going Against Type" for me in many areas, but well worth it.

I would think that 5" is "much" shorter...

So that extra 2" lost from the permanent forward lean (it's not a slouch, more a "ready stance") has a use after all! LOL

I was always under the impression that it was the fairer sex who had a thing about height. If I recall a poll I saw a long time ago correctly, women wanting their man to be taller was more important then them being good looking, or having a sense of humor.

I think on average men are more shallow, height may play some role, but we tend to look at other things as well

.

I'm 5'10"- 5'11" depending on my posture that day, and the tallest girl I've been with was 6'0. Although when we were barefoot in front of each other, we always stood eye to eye. I always told her it was her hair that made her look taller

Speaking from a woman's point of view.... although I've dated men that were my height (5'4") or shorter, I've always preferred men that were taller than me. I want to feel protected and safe and a bigger taller guy makes me feel that way [huh]

I completely agree about taller men making a girl feel protected and safe but then I'm only 5' so most men are taller than me! lol

I find it amusing how all the 6 foot guys could care less about her height! Are you kidding me, it's never happened to you, you're taller than everything!!
I'm 5'6" and let me just say that down here we're fighting over every scrap you drop!! Fortunatly for me my wife is 5'1" so I feel like a very big man!!

My preference is for a woman my height or a couple inches shorter. I like being able to look each other in the eyes without strain. Most of the women I know are about 5'6" or so, which is perfect since I'm 5'9". The last serious relationship I had was with a woman the same height as me, which made her taller than me with heels on, but can't say it ever bothered me. If anything, it was her being totally insane that made me uncomfortable, but not her height.

Insanity is worse than any height difference.
