Just a couple of photos that have been waiting to be uploaded. I've been getting into a routine of doing some rather simple vintage updos since it's been humid here so I feel like most of the time I am wasting my time trying to get a good set out of curls.

I tried finger waves again but this time I set them the night before and slept with the duckbill clips in. For the most part, it worked out, but the one side didn't hold very well when it came to brushing out, which I blame on my sleeping position and the fact that I don't think I had the waves set very well so that noticeable crimp was there while drying.
The back was pinned up low to the nape of the neck.

but at least I can go makeupless and not worry too much about how my brows look. I think if you are confindent enough to do it on your own, go for it! You can buy a dark colored brow pencil and outline the shape you'd like your brows to be before you start any major thinning so you're not having to eyeball and risk lopsided brows when you're done.
Dyed my hair. The wind blew it around yesterday, but it was good. Went to Reading WW2 Weekend:

Lately I've been switching between my usual pompadour and a pin curl wave, which has been making me happy:
