Today is the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and I'm off to a little celebration on the village green. This is as close as i can get to a Red White and Blue outfit.

Raiding Berlin thrift stores in sporty superhero attire last week.

40s jacket, modern cricket vest, vintage navy (?) trousers (blue ribbon brand), cheap linen shoes. NO TIE!

I wore this last night heading out to dinner - sorry the quality of the photo is so bad - I was in a rush! A black, early 1960's dress suit with matching jacket, suede kitten heels & black Chanel clutch:

I reckon this is one of my favourite suits - here's a photo of it as you can't really see it in the photo above!

Miss Golightly simply lovely! My wife has a similar dress but in red with no jacket. I like that style.

The Silver Jubilee was in 1977. 2012 is the Diamond Jubilee. Where's your time-machine so I can borrow it?

Its from a show but...

I don't have a pic from a day to day vintage. But this a group shot of a show, and myself(the one in blue) and the one in the sweater vest have worn similar outfits on a regular day.

Blue dress(not vintage vintage but it works) victory rolls, pearls, and some enamel anchor earrings. Pretty nondescript for an absurd show (bald soprano)

You gentleman look so dapper!

That's a really gorgeous dress - I love the colour and the detail at the waist - it's the kind of dress you will get so much wear out of and never tire of wearing it.

Thank you! It was a birthday gift I found for her earlier this year. She loves red so I'm always on the look out for red dresses and suits.
