VS Black Cherry
My latest acquisition from Art. I'd been on the fence about the black cherry colour for a while and finally decided to take the plunge - I was not disappointed!
Straight out of the box;

With the brim turned down;

I asked Art if he could do create a two tone ribbon, I've seen him do this before and always like the result. Is such a small addition but I think it makes quite a dramatic difference to the hat.

I love the colour to, if anyone reading this is on the fence as to whether or not to get one, I don't think you'll regret doing so. It definitely isn't black, but can appear so under certain indoor lighting. I'd say the 'true' colour is somewhere in between the photos taken indoors, and the two outdoor shots below.

In summary, I couldn't be more pleased. My thanks to Art for another great hat!

Great lid! Black cherry is a great color and very versatile. I wore mine today actually.

Funny you should say that. I think of the silverbelly, dove and black cherry as the most versatile of Art's felt colors. I have several more favorites, but these clearly stand out to me.

Carranty, that is one sweet lid! I would have never guessed how versatile that color was until I saw the pictures and read all the opinions. I just might have to get one made someday.

I've been enjoying this one all Summer. I wish I had a better camera to show just how beautiful it is. Art did a great job. Milan Dualist with cabernet felt.
