Another great Schott jacket LC6301

I really do not want to bash the jacket for what it is, but continuing the discussion about the Schott name - why do this? The jacket is not made by Schott, is not made in USA and is not made with materials from Schott. So you only use the name without anything that constitutes the name Schott. Why cheapen your brand like that? Only for the monies?

Can only guess the money was right when the deal was struck - it would be interesting to know more of the whys and wherefores though. I doubt we ever will unless someone on here knows more of the history of the company.

Overseas production is always cheaper and besides, I'm thinking, their main market is still the USA and none of the imported leather stuff is available there so people are none the wiser. As for everything else, at least they're... kinda honest about it.
