I don't normally care for Houndstooth, but the contrast on these fabrics is so subtle (by comparison) that I could be tempted to get something similar for myself. Nicely done Gents!

It's been awhile, mostly lurking these days. View attachment 191590
you

Gorgeous cap and attire sir. Thanks for sharing.

Eric I knew about your felt hats, but now I envy your cap collection too ;)

Thanks. Glad to be out and about in a cap and hat.

A trip to the state archives building found me in a silk Hawaiian shirt, a light Flusser jacket and my Cordova baca straw cap. View attachment 191723

Love that warm weather cap.

I love that material, Eric. Too bad there was only enough for two caps, but I'm glad you got the first one!

Thanks sir. The material gives the cap some real character. Jonathan gave me some extra height for this cap. I have spoken before about how I like to tug the cap down in back and prefer some extra material to keep it from sitting or fitting snug on my head. That feature works really well with the heavier fabric. His new brim canvas makes it more pliable and it takes a brim curve easily and holds it. As you see from my interior shots I really like the light hued leather sweats and liners. I think it in this case it makes the cap material really pop out when the cap is sitting waiting for me to resume adventures.

Home this afternoon wearing the same cap from yesterday. I am really enjoying this heavier cap with the drop in day time temps.

First post for me in this thread.
Peaky blinders (brand) newsboy cap. Have a nice Sunday,Panos

Panos; You look sharp in the cap. The patterned wool cap coordinates well with your cool weather attire.

Gone Irish again today, Jonathan Richard cap, traditional Irish Grandpa shirt, tweed vest.

I do not image Grandpa look. I see a styl'n guy comfortable in his chosen attire. I like the choices today sir.

I wore a Simond's Streamline cap and shawl sweater to the grocery and liquor store early morning. Our 38'f temps this morning had me enjoying the wool cap and sweater.

Lookin' sharp as always Eric. Thanks for the kind words, I was however, only pointing out the name of my shirt as labeled. I think it's what the Irish call a collarless shirt. ;)
