The Highwayman is a very cool jacket.....have you checked out the Aero "Dust Bowl".?
The sun burst style back of that jacket just looks classic.......

Regular HWM, being a boxier cut, is a good one for layering. Looks great with a submariner sweater in cooler weather, a la the original Brit Rockers. Having tried various liners, for a leather I want maximum year-round wear from, I will go drill cotton every time hereon. Breathable, not too warn in itself, and durable. Definitely go for a breathable liner in the sleeves; I have a Wested Indy jacket which is light and great in warmer weather, except for the fact that the satin-lining in the sleeves makes them sweaty and sticky way before the resto f the jacket is too hot to wear.
