I don't do wet sets, so the wave is just a curling iron curl under and brushed to the side. My bangs are at eyebrow length.

O yous all so pretty! I love the hair Shooshoo & Shortclara (I also love the top you have on in that pic, top/dress...yes...!!!!)

Well last night, being as the man was ill and I had no reason to look nice, I thought I'd try my first proper set; I slept in this;

lol terribly neat I know, I sat in front of the tv playing with it. I got carried away as I originally intended to just wave the right (heavier) side. The bottom/back is not quite long enough to set in rollers yet.

I was surprised it wasn't too bad to sleep in either, some strategic placing of arms was needed but it was ok, surprising as I'm usually such an awful sleeper. Perhaps I just don't notice lack of sleep any more.

After some combing, bribery & tong-ing I managed this;

Alas, I didn't have a good pic of the right side this morning, and the rain made it frizz a little;

The curls at the bottom were much neater when I left the house this morning. Bloomin' weather lol

Oh, how self indulgent is this post?

I was happy with my hair today, though in future I shall probably just leave the back until it's a bit longer. Yes.

hehe, I have an appointment at the local college for them do do some proper fingerwaves, but I might not bother now. They were huge waves!!!

Texasgirl - I love it!! I like the curls on the side in the bottom pic, very pretty

I used my new remmington heated rollers today and got a great result:

It didn't last though - I was down to soft waves by the end of the day - any tips?

What kind of product did you use? When I used to use these rollers a lot, I only ever used Brylcreem and Royal Crown. It used to hold for a minimum of 3 days! The only conclusion I can come to is I am pretty sure my hair was majorly thinned out and I had layers. So maybe it wasn't so heavy. Now when I use the rollers, they fall out to waves by the end of the day.

You could try using a "working" spray, and spray the section, then roll it up. That should help some.

BoomBeBe: I love those little mini pomps!! I sue them regularly to keep my bangs out of my face and ponytail. The hubbs loves when I do that.

ok so this is not the best picture but it's been a long time since i curled my hair and so i thought i would post a few pic, sorry they are not the best but u get the idea, it's hard to see but i use to have blond in my hair (right up front) but for a change i colored over it in a DARK red, but it looks nice.
