The announcer in the beginning of the clip was Leo Carrillo who happened to play Pancho in the TV series--The Cisco Kid! He was one of my favorites back in the 1950's.
I love all of Barbara Stanwyck's movies but I hated her television show--"The Big Valley". Now Loretta Young is another matter---loved her movies and her television show!

If tobacco usage was banned in all films, you would have never had the opportunity to witness the great performances of Humphrey Bogart or Bette Davis.
Their anniversary sale which was two weeks ago is the best time to buy on the Jos. A Bank website. They had poplin & seersucker suits for only $99.00! I do like their cotton twill (long rise) pants when they are also on sale for $29.95.
They are currently in their Buy One Get One Free sale...

I was surprised at some of the actors that are still alive as well as other VIPs.
I use to wear Clarks Desert Boots all the time in the mid 1960's. Use to wear them also in the winter. The one thing I do remember though, they had a white rabbit fur lining back then. I wanted to buy a pair this past winter but no fur lining! I guess they discontinued the lined boots?
This is a great movie and one of my all time favorite character actors, Gladys George, plays the part of Hortense Derry. I loved her in the Maltese Falcon (1941) as Iva Archer and in The Roaring Twenties (1939) as Panama Smith.
My favorite actor in the film is the former 1928 Olympic Silver Medal winner Bruce Bennett ( real name Herman Brix).

The man that lived across the street from me owned the top nightclubs in the Buffalo, NY area when I was growing up as a kid. I got to be good friends with his grandson who happened to be the same age. I was able to meet the following stars:
1. The Three Stooges---Moe, Larry and Joe DeRita...
I personally find Tarrantino's movies violent, repulsive and disgusting. To some it up in a nutshell, he is no King Vidor or Howard Hawkes. It is a good thing he has powerful friends in Hollywood such as Nicholas Cage otherwise, he might still be working in a video store.
I would have to say that Marshal Zhukov impressed me the most out of any WWII Soviet Marshal!
