Boy, leave town overnight and you're five pages behind on the "what hat" thread!
We went to a New Year's Eve party in Lexington. I cropped down the only pic that has surfaced of me so far. I don't like adding group shots without everyone's permission. I'm wearing the camp draft.
Happy new...
Me too. I've gotten pretty good at skimming through the search results at light speed and spotting the over two inch brims.

Thanks, Luv. I am keeping it. I've wanted something with a mid-ribbon and this one has it. I also like the color which didn't turn out quite right in the photo.
That's the dilemma. It's a nice hat, but I'd bid less for the smaller brim. I'll probably keep it but let this be a warning to others. When they say 2 1/2 inches is the brim size (twice), ask them to use a ruler.
I just got this olive green Champ off the bay. Two people asked for a brim measurement and twice the seller answered that it was 2 1/2 inches.
Well, the brim is between 2 1/8 and 2 1/4. What would you do? It's a nice hat. Am I nitpicking?

Here is my family except for my son who was off at college. This was taken during my daughter's only time in a beauty pageant. She didn't win. I say it was fixed.

I don't know about looking better on me, but it does look good. I'm wondering now if my other hats are a shade too small since this one just drapes so well on my head. It really settles in up there.
Thanks again for sharing the wealth. That Stetson Three Way of yours is the bomb!

Today I finally got to wear my early 50's Stratoliner acquired from Mr. Moon. I don't mind telling you it's my new favorite and I do not see handing that honor off to another lid anytime soon.
