Those sound like wing tips to me.
Dack's was a pretty well-respected Canadian brand (I think it's belly-up). The shoes were made in Canada until the Canadian factory closed, and then the company sold re-branded British shoes. Many details here.
Two bucks? If you like them, how could you go...
A. Sagner & Sons tuxedo
I have a vintage Englishtown Clothes/A. Sagner & Sons tuxedo which I picked up for a song, then had tailored to fit. The jacket is unvented, single-breasted, single-button (which I altered to a faux link-front to gain an inch), peak lapel, with grosgrain trim. The pants...
Beautiful! I have a Champ thin-ribbon that's my everyday hat. I love it.
And I swear I own the twin to that Marathon. I wore it yesterday with a jacket and tie when I enrolled my son in a much-sought charter-school spot.

The pin didn't come with the hat. It's...
Stratoliner and Mallory thin ribbon
I picked up these two recently -- both in excellent condition.
The Stetson Stratoliner arrived with a dry crease added by the vendor that popped right out. As far as I can tell, it might never have been worn.
(The pin didn't come with the hat --...
Stratoliner
I finally landed a Stratoliner of my own -- a brown number that the seller says "looks to be unworn" and which certainly looks good in the photos. As always, I'll wait and report once it arrives.
Sometimes, I really appreciate having a small head.
