Nice cards Sally. Since cards from that era don't cost much I have thought about buying some for display. Cheaper way to decorate. And, Happy Valentine's Day to you as well. :)
That was very well put,Bebop and that sums up the reasons that I have chose to continue to post here. It's what makes it special, the acceptance and tolerance of various viewpoints in an mature manner. :) Thanks MK and all of the bartenders for making this place so swell.
I swear that the dress clips on the "pink chiffon goddess gown c. 1960" look quite similar to a pair of 50s/60s clip-on earrings I bought a while back. I don't know if it's my ears or the earrings but they just seem to slide off.
I am sure the kid probably thought he looked good. And I would imagine that he thought he was being clever and different. Not that it is okay to do so though.
Unfortunately, I don't sew, but a lot of the ladies on here do and if you wait a few days, you are sure to get more than a few replies to this thread. Good luck!
My mother used cloth diapers on me and my younger brother, but kept disposables on hand for trips out. I tend to feel, as she does, that cloth, dispite the added mess, just works better. But although the diapers are easy to find the extras--oversized safety pins and rubber pants are not.
